A manufacturer's warranty typically covers repairs for a specified period after the appliance is purchased, and proof of purchase is required to access warranty coverage. Only authorized service technicians are required to perform repairs under the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty may not cover service calls related to installation issues, user instructions, or repairs to the house or plumbing—these are not covered and are paid out-of-pocket. Someone over the age of 18 must be present during the service visit to authorize repairs. If the manufacturer's warranty has expired, service and repair charges will apply. If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional cost to you.
